Busted Scales Fishing was never thought of on that pool bank back before elementary school days. That moment did start a lifetime of fishing. A little Sunfish  all beautiful with a bright orange belly and my face had too be one big smile.

  I spent several years with a perch pool near and a little creek across the pasture stealing Momma's time. Fortunately around 1976, our church's  new preacher would come by and take my siblings and I to our leased pasture with a better fishing hole. Way back then it seemed like quite often, enough to seal my fate.

  Dad would take us bank fishing at Pat Mayse on occasion and one trip ignited my bass fever. A Zebco 33, five foot glass rod and a black and yellow spinnerbait on a little pocket point. I never saw the fish, lost Dad's bait but the fight seemed to last forever. I have caught quite a few bass there since then. 

Fast forward several decades past multiple boats, a few dozen tournaments and numerous fish catching trips  and the decision to retire from the timeclock life to start this guide service.

   Brannan's Customer Appreciation  Tournaments, a lot of them.  I won 2015 Big Bass Tournament. 

   Northeast Texas Anglers Tournaments for one season.  

   Crappie Anglers of Texas for three years.

I have held a guide license for several years assisting  Ballard's Guide Service with multiple boat trips and takng an occasional client around my work schedule.
